Default LiFe 12V 8a/h charging advice please

I got this battery at a good price over the past weekend. I want to use this battery in a little mobile box around the camp site to charge phone batteries, and power LED lights. Question: How do i charge this battery? From what i understand, charging LiFe batteries is different in some ways from lead acid batteries due to their low resistance.
Anybody cares to throw some light on the subject. I don't have solar capacity at the moment.

May be Richard can build you a 1.25A current limit charger that cuts off at the correct voltage.

Also have a look on the website for www.tracerpower.?

    Use this: http://www.hcdpelectronics.co.za/ind...&product_id=69

This is the reason : PWM control regulates output voltage at 14.2V

Without knowing which battery it is almost impossible to comment.

Almost any LiFe/Po battery listed as 12V will be a 12V charge system compatible drop in replacement. (ie it will contain its own built in BMS )

Agree with Fluffy. But a lot of those BMS's will not like it if the charger voltage drop below 14.2.

Link that little HCDP charger to approx 40W panel for your battery or max 90W
