Red face Newish User - Oldish L322

Used to lurk this forum a while back when the wife still had her Jimny.

I recently purchased my first real off-roader. An '03 FFRR L322 with 240,000 km racked up.

Absolutely loving it. I know these old girls are prone to a litany of issues, but between this place and fullfatrr I'm confident that a decent investment in preventative maintenance will keep her going well into the 300,000's

She happily got us to Scarborough this weekend to do some crayfish diving. The drivers window actuator was very slow and week when I bought her, and I ended up buggering it the night before which required pulling the door card and wedging it up with some 2x4. New actuator (and bonnet struts) on-route from Ebay thanks to Amarex global shopper.

Taking her into twin-landy next week to give her the full once over, and to see about getting a Sonnax-modded valve body for the GM5l40e which seems fine for now, but I know what a PITA they can be when the go.

Other than that and a few minor trim issues, she seems like she's in great shape.

Absolutely loving it. So glad I sold my BMW i3.

    Welcome Andrew,

Have a look at some of Marcochezzi's posts on his ex L322.
