    always check the battery spec sheet when taking the amp hours as you want to know the C10 rating which is the discharge over 10 hours. if they give you a C20 ( for example) reading, it will be higher but not comparable with the industry standard.

    The main consideration is battery placement - the old technology batteries emit hydrogen gas which is toxic and explosive. So, not good if positioned near where you sleep or near something which can emiit a spark like an inverter

    I believe there are a lot of "fake" or pirate copies of certain brands selling at those prices. Dont forget the general rule you get what you pay for! I tried a R1000 for a Royal where elsewhere it went for R3000. It lasted 6 months in a ups.
