Default Anchor for the "shadenet, lapa, boma, windbreaker thingy"

Seriously why is there not just one universal name for this thing. It makes it incredibly difficult to search for threads on the subject.

Any way, I wanted to hear how people have found ways to attach ropes to the top of these things. Obviously you can just throw a rope over the top but I have seen this lead to the shade net ripping in due course.

I understand you can make/buy steel pegs with pipes that you can put in the ground that helps, but it seems you still need to add ropes if the wind is fierce.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Could you screw cup hooks onto the tops of the poles?

Loop cable tiies loosely around the wooden pole close to the top. Then tie the rope to the cable tie. The cable tie can be pushed through the netting.
