Default Help me - Alternative to 265/70/16 Size??

Looking at a higher tyre for my Patrol. It can even be a tad narrower too.

    Currently has 265/70/16 on it.

What alternative sizes can I look at?? Like I said, higher, and either the same width or even a tad narrower.

The car's wheel arches still have plenty room, so I'm 99% sure a taller tyre wo'nt rub.

    THANKS

Cool, I also need an alternative for my Wrangler for the same size tyre.

Put on a good old 235/85R16

Larger rolling diameter. You will not be sorry.

They are also almost universally LT spec.

Does anyone know these tyres? For the price I'm a bit careful.

Ja 285 is breer (+-285mm). 235/85 is amper n marie biscuit. 255/85 is net bietjie smaller en heelwat dieper profiel. Hang af hoekom jy dit will doen. Ek sou net n 265/75 opsit.

Johan, die Trol staan vir my "laag", ek sal like van so bietjie hoer tyre.

    Use gaan wees grondpad/teerpad/klippe/modder.

Ja daai 235 is mos maar amper 'n 7.50 x 16?? Hy gaan rerig wegraak in daai wheel arches.

Verskil in hoogte tussen die 255/85 en die 265/75??

Thanks , waardeer julle raad BAIE.

Iemand gaan 'n 79 Cruiser koop wat so bietjie platter staan as gister...............

    daai calculator is reg: band deursnit ; 265 x .7 x 2 + 16 x 25.4 = 777mm , calculator = 777mm

    255 x .85 x 2 + 16 x 25.4 = 839.9 mm, calculater = 841mm
