What is the condition of the discs? You can order from rockauto.com also, sometimes cheaper than amazon

they were going to be my next choice.... I'm surprised they were not available locally. I buy a lot of my GV consumables from Amazon, they are great.

had a set of strut mount kits come in, and one of the bearings was damaged, they replaced both, told me to keep the others.

Anyone have an K&N filer in the GV? Is fuel consumption any better?

Well its a heck of a lot less than the OEM pads. A set of ferodo pads locally from Midas would probably have set you back around the same.

Oil filters are really not meant for off road vehicles, they are meant for "clean" air like you get on a race track, will let in too much dust to the engine and can damage your air flow sensor with their oil. Rather stick to the normal paper filter.

Cyrus you got a good price there for pads. Keep an eye on discs, if they get a ridge or if you get a vibration on braking its time to replace them. Not too expensive to import and dead easy to replace.

Dont go for k&n filter as Cole mentioned if you plan on using gv offroad at all.
