Same here (as a Ferrari supporter). At least the season has officially started. Lots of Formula races on the go (Watching F2 now)

I must say, the masks are becoming an issue, especially when interviewing drivers. I (and the drivers) could not hear Paul properly.

    Default F1 - 2020

I find it weird, using the same words that Ricciardo described, difference is that Ricciardo slowed down.... But I guess that Merc is so fast, it would be impossible to see those flags.

Itís about time Ferrari stop blaming their drivers and start blaming themselves

Well, unsurprisingly, the Pink Mercedes made the biggest gains when compared to 2019

I was unfortunately correct in my prediction after Ferrari's engine was "outlawed", when I said they will have to redevelop it and will be setback a whole year.

I suppose I was hoping against hope that somebody can step to the plate and take the fight to MB this year. Yes, they will not (?) win every race this year, but it is clear that they are as organized and hungry as ever. I believe that it is not always their sheer speed, but rather Teutonic perfection and consistency that makes them who they are. And this alone breeds speed like nothing else. Without reverting to stats and so forth, they (MB) must be the team with the most dominant presence in F1 over an extended period of seasons following each other.

Now, I have never been a Lewis fan, but have always gone to lenghts to express my admiration and respect for him. Last night I was pondering his enormous success and trying to figure out if it was down to the car (a lot like the heady heydays of Schumi when a lot of people opioninated that he was winning because he had the best steed - and would irrate me no end). I came to the conclusion that it is down to a dream team of Lewis, the might of MB and to a very large degree Toto. Lewis found himself in the best seat at the right time and from there just had to add his mercurial talent.

Coming back to Schumi, when he "created" his dreamteam of Brawn, Byrne, Todt, himself etc, I never thought we would see anything like it again. Seems I was wrong, we are seeing a rinse & repeat with MB. I will say that I believe Lewis is sitting in a more dominant car season after season than Schumi ever had in the Ferrari - and not looking to ignite a debate here - this is after all F1 2020.

Now, I clearly recall how much I enjoyed Schumi's dominance and winning ways, so I need to be gracious and allow the MB fans the same - as hard as it is maybe.

But it would really be great if Ferrari can get their heads out of their #@%&#'s and start living up to their legend of building racewinners.

Well done to McLaren and Lando, the best performance yesterday.

What went wrong with the Alfa' s? I could only watch part of quali and do not know if some explanation was voiced about their lack of pace.

I understand Lewis is not pole or has not won this season yet, just saying he scares me (again). Max remains the only hope for now to do anything about it.

Enjoy today Gents, I will be travelling and catch the highlights later.

Schumacher only won so many titles due to the car being way better than any rival's car. Those Ferraris were reliable and fast.

Dont get me wrong....he was good......but to me not the legendary GOAT some people think.

If you look at the three losers against last year's results, they are all three running Ferrari engines.

The Ferrari engined cars had some of the best top speeds last year, this year not even close.

Ferrariís engine werenít performing after the engine being questioned. I recall Toto Wolff saying, ďnow that the season (2019) is complete, share what you (Ferrari) have done with the engineĒ. Ferrari commented ďIt is our intellectual property, and we canít share itĒ

This perhaps is a clue that it might play out later this year when Ferrari find another loophole. But, Austria and Styria is a right-off due to the complete new car only coming in Budapest.

Lewis has a 3 place grid penalty for not slowing down during yellow flag. I think the bet Lewis can hope for today is 2nd

One thing I have been wanting to say a long time about this tread is the mutual respect we have for each other and the teams we support. Comments like jaconell's above is what sets this thread above other. Massive Ferrari fan acknowledging another team with respect. Well done Jaco!
We also do not take each other on personally, sure there may be comments a little "off-center" but that is the exception to the rule.
Well done to everyone contributing to this thread! Keep the positivity rolling

It's been a long time coming, but it's 13 minutes to "lights out and we are off"

    Yes, Red Bull protested.

But I was surprised how Hamilton did not see the track light up with yellow.

I did not catch the extra evidence for Lewis after it was stated there were green lights with the yellow flag.

    Let's just enjoy the race!!!!

41 laps for Lewis to pass and he is super fast before the Tyre stop under safety car.
