I expect a full meltdown at Ferrari as well. And it is coming soon.....
My belief still thinks that Russel will be called up. Merc won’t have a problem to delay their announcement till very late at the season.

If Vettel doesn’t control himself, Ferrari might ask Vettel to go back to Switzerland earlier than expected. Giovanazzi is already trying out a red overall for the temporary call up.

Kubica is still turning a steering wheel in a decent fashion, so driving for Alfa might become a reality this year.

This might be the shortest season in years, but for the drivers market it still remains one of the longest.

lets hope the race can produce half the excitement of qualifying!

In other news F1 tv was frustrating with a stuttering picture, eventually figured out its cause by apple airplay and not the feed itself. Sorted the issue by changing some settings on the Apple TV whereafter everything worked great. Really wish they will get their arse into gear and develop the promised Apple TV app.

Giving Giovavazzi a Ferrari overall will be final proof that Ferrari has indeed lost the plot massively. But I agree, they are not going to humour Seb's ways much longer.

What a qualy session!! My heart rate, blood pressure and anxiety is still struggling to get normal
Mclaren, my second team is showing their hands nicely with Norris and Saintz performing superbly. Saintz is second guessing his move, especially with the Merc power unit in the back of the McLaren next year
Gasly is also performing well this year and I am giving credit where it it due, being one of his biggest critics
Red Bull, I have to admit, admirable performance from Max, Albon will have to pull up socks a bit
Ferrari, I officially commit to support the Ferrari supporters and I mean it in the most sincere way. I am not going to point at what the potential issues may be (from my perspective as it will not be based on any facts), but I can imagine how much it must hurt to see the ICONIC team drop from 2nd in the paddock to fighting for the last points in the races,,, in one season. Chin up boys, keep that loyalty in the Red Team, we all know, Red is always faster
Merc, Well, when I saw it's wet my bets were on Lewis, he just has that BMT edge and today it showed once again. Mind Blowing performance to be more than a second faster than anyone. Bottas, not sure what happened there but he doesn't seem to be as good in the wet as others. Still, a good performance

So, I am trying to figure out how I am going to watch F1 tomorrow thanks to loadshedding between 2pm and 4:30pm... I guess that is why I have mobile data

I think it is dangerous to make any predictions, but if all goes well, then I think it will be Lewis, Max and Bottas

Jacques, your kind words for us Tifosi is well noted and equally appreciated. Sincerely. I hope to return your act of kindness one day when Ferrari again demolishes everything between them and total domination. If this forum is still around in 15 years time, that is. 😳

Yip, we had worse results in the past. Ending 4th in the Championship I remember. So this doesn’t “hurt” anymore like those days.

I hope that we won’t be challenging 5th though.

I wonder if Merc will split tactics. Hamilton to start on soft and Bottas on medium. I would seriously consider that.

I think under these circumstances they would as they are P1 and P4.

People was quick to react by saying it was probably Kvyat.

Love him or hate him, this was the most dominant qualy performance of one driver over the rest of the field, (without having a useless teammate), that I think I have ever seen.

It wasn't just that one lap at the end, it was at every stage , at every point, Q1, 2 and 3, as conditions changed, and new benchmarks were set, Hamilton destroyed whatever the current fastest time was.

It would be hard for Merc to argue that he's not worth every cent...
Tomorrow may be a different story. But today, he simply sledeged every driver out there...

Yip, he was good in Q3.

I always cheer for the underdog. Did so even in MSC era.
Just love it when a youngster in slower car wins the popular guy in the fast car.

The 2006 championship was a joy to watch.

Bottas did not have any braking in front right and for that reason he was slow. Merc is trying to fix it. Hamilton had a fault in his car on Friday but the reason was found during the night and it was fixed. They still have that electrical issue in both cars as far as I know.

Hopefully there is less break downs than last week.
