F1 TV Pro is millenniums ahead of Multichoice. Information and team radios really gives you an depth of what is happening.
F1TV did not want to connect on 3 different browsers while I had DSTV streaming very happily on the same computer, so no ISP issues there.
F1TV did not have any other options available such as driver camera, team radio, nothing

Have to say, I am pretty unhappy with F1TV at the moment

Gloves will be off between Red Bull and Merc.
LOL, last safety car changed everything they were 10 seconds ahead then......Ferrari struggling to beat last year's merc.......how embarrassing

F1 TV need to up their server capabilities, I think it's being overwhelmed. Brilliant race to the start of the year, feel the most sorry for Albon. What a disappointment. LH's 5sec penalty was still way too lenient, imo.

i think Vettel stayed far back, trying to see which cars had open seats.

No, it was a comment I heard on team radio via F1 TV Pro. Something to do with weight.

If you have F1 TV Pro, ride in car with Bottas on that mast lap. The stream will also be available after the race.

Really? What do you call this then? Otherwise, one can always switch to Tour de France..... and Armstrong can be an idol....

No relevance to the thread other than to insult.

Anyway, enjoy yourself, I honestly don't need this. All the nice words earlier today gone to waste!

Brilliant end to a average start.

Albon quickly caught Hamilton, was he robbed of a possible 1st place and not just 2nd?

Very strange. I had everything available. I’m with Telkom on a 10mbps uncapped line.

On my side I had no complaints.

For the last 15 laps I got a terrible picture on DSTV now streaming on the PC. The APP was very clear but lagged the PC.

Seem s like the APP which I had to update today is more up to date as far as tech is concerned.

Like the commentators kept saying through the weekend: points only get handed out after the checkered flag.
I'm sure the Ham supporters feel cheated and the Ferrari supporters didn't expect the second step on the podium, but that is how it happened. More surprising was Lecerc's fastest lap near the end.
Norris' eventual fastest lap was epic and handed him the podium finish.

F1TV not up to scratch, I could only manage to connect just as they lined up for the start. Had intermittent ultra low video quality but then each time after about 5 or so seconds it would jump straight back to full HD. I couldn't log in to watch FP2, the website kept giving me error messages or got stuck refreshing.

    In terms of the race.

    Vettel, Ai Ai Ai.

Hamilton vs Albon - I hope the stewards remain consistent. Hamilton had full lock when he hit Albon so perhaps 5 seconds is deserved. Time will tell, if I see a meatball flag again...

    LANDO!!! LEGEND.

Ferrari good race pace towards the end, but was it because the Mercs were holding back?

Exciting racing behind the Mercs up to the end, what a pity that Sky didn't show more of it.

Next week same track, if Merc don't sort their issues out then they won't be on the podium.

    Styria here we come!

For the next race, try incognito mode. Also try to clear the cache in your browser. Also, do a speed test and ping test, maybe something will be revealed.

So the possible issue with the weight of his car might be why he was instructed over the radio to "pick up as much rubber as possible"?

It seems more people experiencing F1 TV Pro issues. I am not sure where you all are situated and if it was a region problem (only happened in GP etc.) or pehaps ISP related.

Reliability was like it was in the races of the 80’s and 90’s. Somehow it made the race very open and 5 teams are very close together at race 1.

I wonder will the same reliability issues come alive again next week. I am asking as they start the engines in 5 days time again.

I know it was not a speed issue as the pic quality remained the same with phone and PC on the same router. Would the cache not have caused the PC streaming to be bad from the start? The picture was very clear even just using 720p instead of 1080p.

The logos/legend on DSTV was still sharp but not the video portion. Right after the race the picture quality is back to normal.
