I would, but that being said depending on price, if it's hectic expensive then no probably not.

Hi All
We are in the development of a private nature reserve in the north western part of Botswana , approximately 40 km West-North-West from Gumare. It is a remote wilderness with sweet water and is extremely remote (almost a central kalahari feeling, without the hassle of the road getting in there). If we developed a wilderness camp with ablution facilities, would you consider that location as a stop over for a night or two. We have the following under development:
1. Two large watering holes (two of not many in that area);
2. Approximately 14 000 ha of complete wilderness;
3. Sweet water and new ablution facilities (wilderness camps - camps 200m from each other);
If you would consider camping here for a day or more, please comment with a thumbs up and perhaps provide a few suggestions to what you would love to see there?
Kind regards

Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution...
Yes definitely.
Yes, would be interested, however as stated above, would be price dependent as well as self drive allowed and what animals will you have.
Good luck
Thumbs up - pending cost.
One of the stupid mistakes in life is to underestimate peoples level of stupidity!
I would think considering the location and size, this would be big 5 territory?
With a user friendly booking system and rates in line with facilities provided it will most likely work. Advertising I guess is an expensive component but once you can get a good reputation out there it should work. It sounds great...
If Force is not the solution, not enough of it was applied....
I would as long as the following are considered:
1. reasonable prices in line with other campsites in Chobe, Savuti etc.
2. The facilities are well maintained
3. The booking systems is sleek with zero chance of over booking and having to share campsites
4. Decent game in he vicinity with good game drive roads.
I passed that way last week and would definitely have used a nice campsite if available.
After camping around Botswana for the last three weeks, I’ve come to the following opinion:
A campsite should one of two things:
(1) A proper wilderness camp with very basic facilities, like fire pit, braai grid, long drop and bucket shower.
(2) A properly equipped campsite with good, clean ablutions, a nice braai area at the pitches, maybe taps and power at the pitches. A nice touch would be a tap with a hose for filling onboard water tanks if someone is moving on to somewhere more remote afterwards.
I’ve no problem being in the wild, bringing my own water and using a shovel at toilet time but I found it very frustrating to arrive at a camp where I was expecting to find proper ablutions and the toilets won’t flush, the showers are dirty, braai grids missing from the fire pit etc.
Definite thumbs up from me.
Fire pit and long drop would be sufficient, with a big sign saying:
Leave this site as you found it, take all rubbish with you. Transgressors will be fined and banned.
Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

Definitely a good point in above post #8.
One more issue, it should not be too far off the direct route, (say max 5 kms) so not to affect travel distances too much.
I assume a water hole for wildlife would attract some visitors and entice to spend more time than a simple stop-over.
