Ebutsini 4x4 Trail

After being closed down for a while, the Ebutsini 4x4 Trail is open again.

I am planning to do the route Sunday 15 December 2019 or Monday 16 December 2019. If any of you want to join, you are welcome. You can contact me on 0seven8422349five.

The scenery promises to be fantastic and I was told that it could be rated as a 3+ trail with some sections that will require good concentration.

There are 2 of us going thus far. We are planning on doing a day trip from Nelspruit to do the trail with a braai/picnic on the route.

For now we are planning to do the trail on Monday 16 Dec, the public holiday. You are still welcome to contact me if you would like to join us.

That looks like a nice trail, how long does it take to complete, distance?

About 30km. Apparently 4-5 hours.

Date now set for Sunday 15 December 2019. Planning to leave Nelspruit around 06:00. Entrance fee of R350/vehicle.

I would love to see some pics / video of the trail. Unfortunately I dont own a 4x4 at the moment. Looking to get one in Dec, busy comparing prices from stealers. I am not really into trails anymore as your vehicle gets scratched alot! But if this trail is in good shape with bushes trimmed etc I might reconsider.
