Default Wrangler steering wheel controls not working

    Hi all,
My wife has a 2013 Jeep Wrangler 2 door and a couple of weeks ago the steering wheel controls stopped working.
The radio control buttons at the back of the wheel don't work, the buttons on the front left of the wheel that select the dash info don't work and the hooter doesn't work. The front right cruise control buttons and the cruise control is still working fine.

Has anyone had these symptoms before and what was the fix? I've done a bit of googling and it seems it might be a clockspring issue - can anyone confirm?

Do you know if your vehicle has had the clock-spring recall done?

Thanks.. Had a look on the site... looks like it was done in 2016 (before we bought the car)

So not sure if anyone has changed theirs (not under recall) that could give me an idea of price and if it is actually the clock-spring that is the issue?

Mine does it from time to time. they smack the steering hooter and see if it sorts out.... sounds funny but that resolves mine
