There is also a thread "Definative Bush Camps" under this same category. Go check it out.

Also a thread "Camping within 300 km of JHB" or something like that. Very informative.

Letís keep it simple. Post some photos of the campsite or item you would like us all to know about and what your experience was like.

Lets make this thread serve as a tool for all, especially the new campers.

    Hi Zapiture

Excellent idea and will give new(ish) campers like myself a great idea where to go next. Perhaps we should try and keep it in a format where reviews are done consistently just to make sure that some critical information is not missed or forgotten? Something similar to the sections of vehicle faults.

If you feel it is something we can implement then it would be fantastic. I have put the below together which I think may be useful, though it may not be a complete "list of review requirements". Just to get the ball rolling and for members to add. Obviously we do not want this to be a massive encyclopedia for each review. Feel free to amend the list if you feel it can be used

Mods to review if itís suitable as a sticky.

In January I want to go to Mossel Bay, Iam in Gauteng, so I want to go via Bloemfontien down to Aliwall North, to visit my son, then on , via burgersdorp to Middelburg, then to Graaf -Reinet to George to Mossel Bay. What camp sites can I get along the way which are good, clean and fresh It will only be my wife and I, and I have never traveled down that way, any advice will be appreciated.
