When frying beacon I always add something sweet like golden syrup or honey to it.

    Sweat and sour.

Ag no man. You are not supposed to let the beacon get sour.

Chutney also works well for this.

Since this thread is out of the ordinary though, here is my worst, stopped doing it after listeriosis scare though.

Red vienna, dip that in coke, gives the vienna a sort of sweet taste. DO NOT DRINK COKE AFTERWARDS.

My weird one: Marie biscuits soaked in my coffee, eat out with a spoon.

Another favourite is Fruit cake with sliced cheese!

Boiled eggs, cheddar cheese and mayo. Mixed into a salad on bread/toast. You can even ad small pieces of biltong to it.

Interesting, roughly 90% of what is considered weird, involves bread. We saffas dont like to complicate things.

And I had some quite interesting dishes in my life. Including fried cockroaches which I will still have more than once before tinned asparagus.

If I just need to eat because I have to, I will eat whatever there is.

(I will rather go hungry before eating franchise take-aways, but I will go to that level if needed.)

I found for example over the years, that you can get some very excellent food, at dodgy "looking" places. You just need to check out the clients - who do insist on quality.

And then, I do like some expert fine dining experience every now and then.

So in short, I don't really have a frame of reference of how "out of ordinary food" would be classified.

The combination of things I moered together was simply a function of what was in the kitchen at that time.

Here is one that doesnt involve bread.

Take a green apple, cut the stronk out fill with peanut butter. Eat

Beware of people telling you "thats too much peanut butter" you dont need that kind of negativity in your life.

the only time you've had too much peanut butter is when your tongue is stuck to the roof of your mouth and you need hot coffee to be able to swallow............

To be fair, sweat should not be on food.
