Question 2018 2.4 GD6 Removing the roof console.

    Hi All,

Is there anyone out there who was able to remove the roof console where the sunglasses holder is?

I could not find any visible screws or anything. I've got a feeling that it is held in place by clips and that by pulling hard on it, it will come loose, but I am scared it will break something if I am wrong.

I want to connect my dash cam power cable to the 12V in the roof.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Pieter

I suspect you need to remove the little light covers/lenses to expose the screws... As per the Triton console...

There are no screws under the light covers or in the sunglasses holder.

I bet a sharp tug will pop the plastic clips out.
