Default Controlling the windows with the remote?

    Hi guys,

I have just received my Ranger 3.2 manual 2018 4x4 and i would like to know if there's a way to activate the feature to open or close the windows via the remote. My wife has the Focus ecoboost which has this feature.

    Thanks,

    Clive.

Iíve got the new Biturbo Wildtrak and it also doesnít have the Global opening and closing option.
Just took delivery of my sons new Fiesta and it has the function.
Crazy that the higher end vehicles donít have it. His Fiesta also has the double deadlock locking function which is in the Wildtracks manual but not actually fitted.

Window control from the remote is unfortunately not available and cannot be activated within the BCM either, the supporting hardware is not in the truck.

But there is 3rd party window modules available.

    This might help you:

I was also surprised that this feature is absent from the bakkie, even my wifes 2011 Polo has this function as standard....

Interesting that your Wildtrak does not have the double lock function. My 2019 3.2 XLT does have it, I tested it and its there. That said my previous 2015 3.2 XLT only had the double lock function only in the handbook but not in real life looks like Ford's rolling the dice a bit and either you are lucky...or not

I had a 1997 Opel Astra 160IE which had a remote window function. I hardly ever used it as it was more of a novelty at the time than a practical feature for me. I guess the feature is not that high in demand?

There are many other features which I would rather have to be honest.
If Force is not the solution, not enough of it was applied....
