    Default Mozambique -Inhambane-Barra

Is there any update on roads, Fuel Prices (Petrol and Diesel) or any other issues? I am leaving on friday morning sleeping over at Casa Lisa and taking on the last part on saturday morning.

Last time I did the route it was fine, except for a bad section around Xai Xai where the detour was through thick sand. Anywhere north of Tofo on the peninsula is four wheel drive. Obey the speed limit meticulously - every little village has a speed camera these days, and even if you don't see a speed limit sign, slow down the minute you hit anything vaguely village-like (and there are a lot of villages on this route).

    HI Almal

Eks terug van Moz. Ek het 80L Diesel oor gevat sonder n probleem. Petrol was so R17.iets/L. Daar was baie road blocks, en so paar speed traps.

    Default Petrol prys in Moz

    Hi almal,

Exchange rate was 2.7 Mt/Rand terug koop teen 3.15 so gebruik maar al jou Mt daar. Drank wissel van Tofo en Inhambane. Tofo was so 360 Mt n kas en blykbaar het mense by die mark by Inhambane dit teen 200Mt weet nie hoe waar dit is nie.

Jcw, ons koop altyd drank in Inhambane by die drank winkel, lekker goedkoop daar. Koop ook lekker vars brood by die bakkery.

Ok, I'm off to Barra tomorrow, wil give some feedback when I'm back on the 4th of May.

Koop jou dop by Handeling store.

I crossed at Manzegwenya 3 April and while I was watching the vehicle I stood and did the verkoop thing with the customs inspector. While we stood there, he got the smell of petrol and walked over to a trailer with some quads on, and started giving the driver once over about only 2 steel jerry cans, so it seems there can be a problem, I had 130L in my reserve tank and 85L in my main tank, nobody asked me any questions.
