Default Help with Axpert and Deltec settings

A friend bought an inverter system and had it installed last night. He wasn’t sure on the settings so I went over to check. Got there and the installer (electrician) used 4mm2 stove house wire to wire batteries and inverter (without fuse!). Advised them to bypass inverter and remove cabling, and source correct guage (16mm2).

Anyways, please help with the Axpert settings:

Inverter: Mecer Sol-I-Ax-3M24 (looks exactly like my previous MKS3000)
Batteries: 2x Deltec 1250 Solar High Cycle batteries. Here is the spec sheet: https://www.alternagy.co.za/wp-conte...pec-Sheet1.pdf

    On the battery it says:
Fast charge 50 Amps for 1.5 hours max
Slow charge 5 Amps for 20 hours
    Float maximum: 13.8V

    Please confirm the following?
    02: Charge current: 20 or 30 Amp?
05: Battery type? AGM / Flooded / User?
    11: Charge current: 20 or 30 Amp?
These only available if User is set in 05:
26: Bulk charge voltage (default 28.2)
27: Float charge voltage (default 27)
    29: DC Low (default 21)

What is the acceptable DOD of these batteries? 10.5v look a little low to me?

    Thanks for the assistance!

I would use the 20A charge level unless you need to fast charge due to loadshedding. I would also use 23.6V as the DC low setting. These batteries show only 290 cycles if cycled to DOD of 50%. One would not want to replace them in under 1 year by cycling too a high level.

    Cool, thanks ekkekan!

I actually forgot about this thread, mate asked again just now so thought I'll check in. Loadshedding is obviously an issue now, but will leave at 20A, CoCT is usually 1 stage down from Eskom so we have long stints between sheds.

Sorry - these Deltec's, what type of battery are they? Flooded, AGM, etc? Edit: I suppose it doesn't make a difference if I choose User to change the DC low voltage...?
