    Default SARS prov. payment acknowledgement?

    Hi All
At the end of August my wife and I made our provisional tax payments for the first period year 2020. The funds have gone off our banking accounts to the SARS-PROV account but neither of us has received any acknowledgement of receipt from SARS. We always used to receive an email AND sms thanking one for the payment.
We're getting a bit concerned that something has gone wrong. Can anyone advise how on earth a taxpayer can see on their SARS profile whether the provisional amounts are reflected? Please don't suggest phoning them......I've wasted enough time waiting for the phone to be answered.
    Thanks.

Go to e filing. Currently I have to use Opera for many items there as they need Flash.

    Return history
    Select IRP6 for 2020
On the form there is a button "Statement of account"
    Form opens
    Second line should be payment
Balance on the last column on right should show 0.00

    I presume you efile?

Log into SARS efiling and about half way down the tabs on the LHS there is a tab that says [History]. I have just looked on mine and it shows the payment and says "Successful".

    I can't remember getting a receipt either.

    Thanks Jouko and Ian.
I'm think I've been through the history tab but it only gives info relative to the last financial year. I know that all is fine with past years.
Let me give a go again, perhaps I'm missing something. But really, I know I'm challenged but you would think SARS would create a user friendly site for idiots like me (and half the country). The simpler the efiling the quicker they would get their money!

If still not sorted, log a complaint via the Call me back or email them with all the details. They will get back to you.

Success at last! Spot on Jouko.
Surely there's an easier system that SARS could use?
    Thanks again guys.

Unfortunately Tom Moyane stopped the development of SARS system. Technology went ahead in the mean time and now they have to catch up. Not easy. They cannot do the work like UIF or "Worker's comp" have done. If they did there would be no money at all for the government to spend.

We mainly battle to find and use browser that works. It helps to have high level accountant (retired) as a partner
