They didn't mention the most important part - a second cup holder!

Think that is available aftermarket? I would love to get one. How they can only have one cup holder standard is beyond me.

Jy moet jou kop laat lees as jy die premie vir n paar plakkers betaal.
Boonop is daar baie beter aftermarket produkte beskikbaar as wat Toy bied.
Die enigste spesiale uitgawe Toyota volgens my ooit, was die Brutus Cruiser reeks.

    .
Bull bar, spotlights, lifted suspension, bigger tyres, canvas seat covers, roof console etc is a bit more than "'n paar plakkers"

For that kind of money you can buy a new one and mod to what I have built. That cost me to just above the premium of about 900k.

    Francois, lees my hele pos.

Have you priced the ARB and OME accessories that comes with this Cruiser?

And add in the tyres and roof console and spotlights and seat covers and double loadbin skin and other smaller upgrades.
Toyota says its R125 000 more than the standard model.Maybe someone can add up the cost of the accessories WITH the cost of fitment.

    I agree

Just the two spots are R26 000.00

And what about those coopers wrapping the rims?

You also get this in one day straight from factory no driving around and waiting for it while it's booked in etc.

And let's also not forget every accessory is financed on a low interest rate with the vehicle not separately on your credit card or straight out your hard earned savings.

IMO, these are actually some of the reasons why I would NOT buy it.

    1. You can now get better spots for cheaper.
    2. I would prefer to fit other tyres.
    3. Part of the fun of owning a LC is the customization process, making it your own is almost part of the allure.

And also, again my opinion only, financing extras is never a good idea. If you can't afford to fit extras cash, just wait until you can before doing it. You're not getting very much back for those extras when you sell it. Even on a Land Cruiser.

Are there still issues with fitting your own extra's and warranties?

Okay, so you wont be one of the owners.

I am sure they will find someone to sell it to

Thing is Toyota backs all these fitments with full factory warranty, trade value will be higher than when you fitted equal accessories by yourself because this is a special edition, and most of them are already sold !

Toyota SA probably got a very sweet deal on all those accessories from the manufactures (Bulk buy, wholesale deal)

Wonder if it's being passed down to the consumer?

If so, this could be a good buy.
