Default Land Cruiser 79 Double cab suspension

Morning I am looking for some advise here please.

Last month I bought a 79 Double cab and it already has EFS suspension fitted. I had another double cab before this one with the factory suspension, and the new one feels like it drives a lot harder. The EFS looks nice and so on, but I use the bakkie on the farm over weekends and drive a lot if gravel there and back, so comfort is more important to me than having a "higher" bakkie.

Has anyone else experienced this before - I just want to know whether I am imagining things, but it really does feel more bumpy.

I can get an original suspension setup from a guy close to me that has 10,000km on it and I am seriously considering this.

EFS and Ironman is very hard, you are not imagining it.

What is your tyre pressure at? This also makes a big difference.

I imagine this also depends if the EFS suspension was tuned for a load? If you're driving your bakkie on the farm empty or with some gear and a few sheep (or whatever) in the back from time to time that is not the same as a full time 1000kg load that some upgrades are designed for. Just a thought.

I had EFS fitted to my hilux the front was terrible on a bumpy road. I eventually changed the front suspension to tough dog, was a lot softer and better
