    Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Morning

I have been watching quite a bit of Survival Russia on YT. He is actually a Dane but lives in Siberia. Somehow, watching him sleep in a self made shelter at -30c diminishes my complaining about the temps we currently have in Jwannesbeg.

    There is a lesson there.

Its another great day, make it greaterer

    Goooood Morning all!

On a chilly morning, I think back to my second vaccine received yesterday at Discovery in Sandton.

From the guy directing traffic outside the building, to every monitor inside, to the administrator of the vaccine, all were unfailingly cheerful and helpful.

Yes, they are paid, but, work 12 hour shifts, and are on their feet constantly. There positivity is an example to me, as to how to do things, and I will strive to emulate that.

If I can make one persons day greaterer, mine is also made greaterer.

    Let's do this!

No particular reason, but I believe, if we think about it, we all have at least one reason to say it is a great day.

I thought for a change to just beat Estee for once and be the first to say gooooooood morning ....
With a partial paste of a post on a different thread:
I just cannot lie in bed all bright eyed and bushy tailed thinking about everything under the sun, cloud, whatever.
So I'm up again now with my very early morning mug of coffee and trying to convince myself to actually get down and DO the flipping tax returns.
Of course I could not resist a quick check on the forum and here we go again.Sun comes up here at 6.45 am this morning, currently 7 deg.C. expecting sunny day at 20 deg. I guess I should not complain too much but for KZN that is verrrryyy cold.
So let's have a crispy great sunny day with a nice warm braai fire later after some gardening in the non-humid winter weather.
Winters here are actually great although this one is a bit cooler and seems to be will last abouit two weeks instead of one.
Have a great day and keep positive attitude.

Morning Everyone, from the Eastern Freeze State. Its a crisp -7 here at us this morning, I just went outside to roll the ole hose out a bit, its actually VERY nice outside and the sky is crisp and clear with the sonnetjie knocking on the door.
Sev and I are completely outnumbered this weekend, with Mamma on a Curry Oriental Foodcourse thing, Jomar on a hunting trip, and my 2 daughters each having a Pal stay here for the weekend. So........Sev and I are keeping our mouths shut and do what we're told

Having a bit of a cold this morning, but 2 ACC 200's, 3 Sinutabs and a strong black Necafe is busy sorting this out, feel way better already. Will just kill all remaining germpies with a lekker Jack and Coke a bit later this morning

Have a GREAT one Guys, and an even better Week.

And look around you today........we're very VERY priviledged, there are lots of people with FAR greater worries and sadness than most of us have.

From all walks of life. Even (maybe even especially??) people whom we regard as wealthy, but with issues that money cannot fix........I'm experiencing that first hand this last couple days with a very very dear friend VERY close to us all.

Dont want to go sloppy or be a Priest here.........but its the truth.

    Morning all,

If you are really battling to find positivity in these times, look at the Gauteng weather reports (ENCA) for the next few days, highs in the 20's.

There is always a positive lurking out there, we simply need to find it.

A great week lays ahead, let's do our bit to make it greaterer!

    Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo d Morning

Yesterday, I was reminded how things can affect different people differently, even many years after an event or events. Men particularly, have a tendency to bottle it up which can effect our lives for decades after.

There is nothing wrong in talking about it, seeking help and gaining closure. Dont carry those burdens around with you, get them sorted soonest. Life is way too short.

    Have a greaterer day
