    I have a turbo lag on pull off with black smoke any Indies out there that can help around the West Rand area? Thanx

    Who did the turbo for you?

    Has the vehicle been mapped?

    VNT control by the stock ECU is not that easy...

    Brian from Madman a few years back. He does not work on Tunis anymore.

    no I have not mapped the vehicle.

    If I remember right, the VNT Brian used to do was vacuum actuated? Have you checked that the vacuum pipes to the pitch adjustment are not leaking?

    I have seen a Brian VNT on a 300 Tdi Defender too.

    Owner was not very impressed with the performance..

    Just by putting one one don’t think will make a big diffrance you need to adjust pump as more are needs more full, but then you need EGT to make sure done right

    That is only part of the equation. The pricked with vnt is accurate boost control.

    Correction there was a re-mapping done when the turbo was changed.
