I have started to look at Toyotas and secretly admire their design. Nice buy. Colour combination is a good choice.

Not impressed with your post and bragging with your new bakkie, including those new tyres!

I JUST got rid of my itch last week by using a big stainless steel brush... and now it has come back!

    Thanks for that!

    PS: Congrats and enjoy it!

Glad to see that the tablet is now more flush with the dashboard - was not a big fan of the previous design (feels just a gimmicky "aangeplakte poging").

May I add some more ideas for your future plans:

    1. new front bumper/bash plate (especially if you are planning to do 4x4 stuff)
    2. camera in front (in grille) ;-)

    Enjoy the new bakkie!

Seeing as we sharing, here my Legend50 D/C 4x4 auto Absolutely amazing vehicle, and thats coming from a Prado 120. At high way speeds there is practically no road noice & the engine is dead quiet.

Not to mention that Power button & sport mode for the gearbox.

    Update:

Bought a Alucab canopy two weekends ago, me and the mrs installed the canopy at night. Was lots of FUN
Was a simple process, only thing that got me going was the rubberising that was around the bolts where the canopy brackets attached.

Started this weekend with my dual battery system
im using two x AGM Victron 60Ah batteries with a Ctek charger (Client cancelled an order of batteries that i now ended up using in my Hilux)
From the batteries i will be using a Victron Battery protect ( This will allow the load to disconnect when battery voltage reaches 11,5v)

Box was made from left over aluminium flat sheet and bar. I ended up mounting my battery system at the back.
Tonight, i will be spraying the box black and connecting up everything.
