What models are named Go big?
    Why?
What's the difference to the other models?
    What year do they end?

It was the 1st Isuzus sold starting around 2005 (all new model) that carried the D-Max monniker. (the 3l td then had 280 nm and 96 kw). The range following immediately on this had only upgraded looks but new powerplants - then called D-Teq. So, without calling on GOOGLE, "GO BIG" refers to, roundabout 2005 - 2012. The "GO BIG" name was derived from the ad campaign at that time.

So! The "Go Big" had nothing to do with the size or shape. It was all in the marketing!

Sal julle opinie baie wardeer.

    Hi Pieterk

As far as I know the "Go Big" model was actually a much bigger vehicle than the one it replaced, although I do not have the dimensions at hand. The 300dti engine produced 96kW and 280Nm as opposed to the 74kW and 230Nm of the 280DT it replaced.

It received a face lift and a new line of engines in 2007 and the new D-Tec motors produced 85kW and 280NM in 250 guise and 120kW and 360Nm in 300 guise.

Below is some photographs of an old Isuzu (similar to the 1994 model I owned) and the new one, and you can see that there is a substantial difference in size !

The shape of the vehicle model after the 1994 model was not substantially bigger but the D Max "Go Big" (2004-2007) was 5015mm long, 1720mm wide and 1640mm high. The current model is 5218mm long, 1766mm wide and 1690mm high.
