    Default E-toll outcome

Ok so there is supposedly 3 days left at most before the official statement on E-toll's will be released

So lets see if our "Govment" can actually come up with a idea that the majority of Gauteng people will accept

Or whether it is going to continue on to a full fight in court

    What is that old saying
Definition of insanity - Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result
They are considering dropping the prices to get people to pay

And as usual our ANC "Govment" commanding SANRAL has not come up with the response although we are now sitting on 4 weeks instead of the 2 they were given

But hey at least we know that the people is deciding
Payment for E-tolls this year have slumped 63% out of those who were paying

Yep we can see E-toll's is about to start working

Except from the ANC government and SANRAL
    Or maybe SANCRAL

SANRAL and e-cashless payment system from E-toll's

I am quite sure SANRAL would like people to start using their E-toll payment system to handle day to day payments
    But to be honest

Other question on SANRAL's new scheme, oh sorry new system

Is more than 50% of everything you pay through it also going to go out of SA
And if something normally cost you R100 will it now be R300 if you use their system in the future?

Personally I will stay far far away from any payment system brought out by SANRAL and ETC

    They also claim this
He points out that Sanral has 40 facilities that are open until 9pm seven days a week, where motorists can do their eye tests for their driver’s licence renewals by appointment and walk out of the facility 15 minutes later.
And what it the chances that if you do your eye test there and then go to renew your license that the government team will insist you redo your eye test like they do when you do it at optometrists

Six main fundamentals (there may be more) continue to make the urban e-toll system unsustainbable:

It has the effect of making citizens prisoners within their own city
There is no trust that collections will be spent on what is intended and will not be "fed on" like a bunch of pigs at a trough
There is a decided suspicion that the strategy is being abused to create unwarranted and unnecessary job creation
RSA overall has a culture of civil disobedience rather than civil obedience
It is too discriminatory a way of effective taxation, and in this total curcumstance,
Is remarkably a strategy based on trust with effective enforcement on the massive scale concerned being literally impossible.

With all this not exactly being rocket science either.

AARTO Draft was published on the 11th... get it here if you are that interested.

    https://www.jp-sa.org/aarto-draft-re...public-comment

“At a first reading, the regulations appear to have been rushed to completion and leave many details to the discretion of functionaries and institutions instead of providing clarity on exactly how the processes outlined in the AARTO Amendment Act are to function,” Dembovsky explained. “In particular, the regulations virtually ensure that road users seeking to challenge infringement notices will be confronted with onerous bureaucratic hurdles.”
    I wonder why?

None of the people who is not paying is going to pay
So if you want us to pay then actually put some effort in and get the case to court

You and SANRAL is almost as afraid to fight this in court as Zuma as to fight his case in court

Think folk are forgetting that the Austrians will want all their gifts back if their contract is cancelled ?
Safe to say the gifts are already long gone to estate agents and car dealers....
