I used to have an Isuzu KB200, a Ford Ranger and an Amarok. All with normal fiberglass canopies, e.g. Beekman. All I had to do was leave the canopy side windows open a bit / prevent them from closing. Very little dust in the load bay, at any speed. I never bothered with dust kits and stuff. Seeing that you don't have sliding windows on your canopy, a decent vent flap should do the job. Maybe fit a 2nd one on the other side.

I've got the RSI Canopy for my Bakkie, and the extra sealing between the bakkie-flap to close that little bit off when opening.

However, when doing dirt, which I do a lot of, everything is full of dust...

Are there are other things one can do do minimise the dust?

When my roof rack is fitted for a trip, all airflow into my canopy is affected even with an air flap installed on top of the canopy. At low speed no positive pressure can build-up in the canopy.

I purchased a universal electrical radiator fan (R500-00) and installed it in the canopy underneath the air vent. When the fan is switched on, there are no dust entering the canopy irrespective of the speed I travel. No tailgate dust kit or any sealing done.

Johan that would be sorted by one of those Valiant style aerofoils so popular in the 60ís and 70ís - like one central above the tailgate and 2 on the sides. Been searching the Net for those but canít find it anymore. Sure it would sell well if someone here could start manufacturing it again.

I haven't had that issue, but then, I have a roof rack fitted... must create enough turbulence to stop the buildup

Comments regarding the load bin are spot on . Also check that the dome vent usually fitted to the roof of the canopy has the largest hole facing the front

You are not going to get airflow via aerofoils or roofracks when doing low speeds in conditions like these ....
