Default NICE caravan camping - Parys to Potch??

    Hi Everyone

Can anyone recommend a NICE caravan camping spot, anywhere between Vredefort to Parys to Potch??

Preferably as small as possible, as quiet as possible, and as much trees/scenery as possible.

The Blond and I want to go away for a weekend, just the two of us, but we are taking Dolores the Gypsey with for warmth and comfort

    THANKS

    Thanks so far, appreciated.

I once drove a dirt road next to Parys, there's a gholf estate development thing there - on the Free State side. The development is still early stages though, there's just a huge sign there. You turn left there, at that sign, and then you drive on to a gravel road past some "smallholdings".

There we saw this VERY nice campsite, small, right on the river.........but for the hell of me I cant remember the place's name.

They had some chalets there, huge central "hall" thing, maybe 5 or 6 stands next to the river.

Somewhere near there is an entrance to another venue there, with this nice big gabion walls.

    .............sounds familiar??

    THANKS

I know it, we camped there before. Very nice, only 3 stands if I can recall. The dirt road there was however quite long and rocky for a road caravan. Deflate tyres and take it slow.

Or you can camp at Berakah 4x4 and do the trail as well.

Very scenic although it is winter

We were there in FEB. The ladies bathroom much better than mens. They need a bit of renovation unless been done since then. It is a great place though. Eastco just better for me. Smaller and neater.
