Default Onrus Caravan Park/Ou Skip Caravan Park

    Question to the regulars please

We plan to stay at Onrus for the first time around middle October.

Now being from Pretoria, we are looking for nice morning & afternoon shade and grass. Any particular stand that I can ask for?

It needs to be fairly big as well. We are going down with the Exclusive.

I also would like to ask the same questions for Ou Skip at Melkbosstrand.

    Thanks

Onrus is fine, but Strandkloof is just so much better.

Ou skip is nothing spectacular but does the job with grassy sites and shade. Our last minute getaway spot. We only stand in rows F or P between the ablutions and the kids playing area.

Spook, Onrus - look at the sites map - sites when you turn right at the entrance towards Davies' Pool, mostly shade. I'd also ask when booking - very friendly, helpful people at the office.

PS Strandskloof, beautiful but not nearly as central to tourist attractions and shopping.

Oppas net vir "strollers" by Strandkloof. Been there, done that, lost the cellphone...

Strandkloof is fully fenced. Might have been a fellow camper with long fingers...

We just returned from Ou Skip after a great weekend. Ablutions basic but clean. Always had security patrolling the camp site. What I also liked is that they don't allow day camping.

Ons was ook by Ou skip die afgelope naweek. Baie lekker rustig met geen pyne.

Geniet Strandskloof!
