    Just a quick one here .... Anyone else in the larger Durban metropole having problems TODAY with receiving, sending (or not) email using a telkomsa.net address?

    Telkom seems to hava a country wide network problem.
    I have a Telkom data SIM, without connectivity since Friday.

    I am also on a Telkom Data SIM.
    The strange thing is that Internet connectivity is fine.
    Email connectivity (Send and receive gives NO errors)
    Done diagnostics on Router - No problems.
    Only email is not receiving
    OR only receiving SOME mails
    Yes I have checked the deleted and junk mail folders ....

    SWAMBO has also been having problems with her Vodacom data - no service available?
    She has MORE than enough data loaded.

    My tablet on MTN seems to be OK, for now at least.

    The fibre connectivity via Telkom will have nothing to do with their @telkomsa.net servers.

    Peter, try sending yourself a test e-mail via your Gmail account.

    I wonder where the Telkom email server is? If in CT, then it is understandable. Our Xneelo email server is in CT, and our emails are very sluggish - there is a fibre link problem on one of the backbones between Dbn and CT. Pings to the server are nearly 200ms, as if it was somewhere in Europe.
