Default Overland Worx gets an A++

Thought it prudent to give a huge shout out to Peter, Ian, Ruan and the rest of the Overland Team.

Briefly, my LR4 (2015) went into limp mode a couple of weeks ago. I took it in to Overland Worx and they treated me like the most important person in the world from the moment I walked through the door.

Great job done. Well done and speedy recovery Peter.

My go-to LR service guys! Peter I am glad to hear you are OK.

Peter is the expert on the new Defender, just allow for an extra 30mins for deliver at their workshop if he is there and he starts on this subject!

I have the following two things on my Defender, do you think a garage should attend to them if requested to?

Anyway, my Defender was in at OLW and these two things were not even looked at. And this is what my gearbox looked like after an oil change:

It appears as though they didn't even wipe away the excess oil after the refill.

It was my first time at OLW and I wasn't at all impressed.

    Something random

This is something very random, this is totally unknown to me, I do not know who you are and if this is a bad experience you have endured please please to be so kind to tell me why It is brought to my attention on this post on the forum.

Was there any attempt that you could have tried to get in touch with me or perhaps Ian to discuss this matter. You have gone into such effort as such to photograph everything in detail I would have loved to be given a chance to remedy your concerns.

However I am very sorry and I will investigate and revert back to you in person if you dont mind.

Wow! You should have addressed this with Peter first instead of just posting. There may be a simple explanation. Not just one side to a story.

Life never seems to amaze: two guys use OLW for the first time with two complete different outcomes.

Sure I too could lament how Peter and I took trip after trip trying to isolate the route cause. After all should it not be easier to do fault finding?

A different view should be to appreciate the partnership between OLW and itís customers who enjoy the passion for the LR brand. Thatís certainly what I experienced in truckloads.

Peter, again, thanks for the dedicated time spent and the passion you have for what you do. Thanks for lunch, thanks for giving me absolute faith in a long enjoyable experience with Land Rover. I know this because you guys have my back. And, if my good intentions cause you any disrepute, please accept my sincere apologies. It certainly was not my intention.

My Freelander spent the day there yesterday - brilliant! Came back like new. That after Overland Worx did everything to help me get the car there, phoned to check before doing extra work and then handed back a sparklingly clean Landy.

Special mention to Enias, Rachel and Sardie.

    A++ from me.

Thanks for the response, but firstly, I didn't know that you are the owner of OLW and as this is a public forum, I was merely just sharing my experience with other forum members.

As I said, this was my first time using OLW and if something was not done the first time, why would I believe that it would be done on the second attempt?

Why is it being turned around that I am the one to blame for not making contact? Surely a courtesy call to your client should be more acceptable? Even a private message from you to me on this forum could had of worked, but instead you also decided to respond to this thread.

In any event, I have resolved these issues on my vehicle, so thank-you for willingness to reslve my issues.

Please post your real name, it is only right if you are going to post a complaint like this.

You have a bloody cheek attacking OLW on this forum without first making contact with them.
