    Default Camping at Mongu

Does anybody know of any reliable, safe camping spots at Mongu?

I am not aware of any facilities that have opened recently. Where are you approaching Mongu from (and where are you going to), because there are much better locations to camp than in Mongu if one can plan the itinerary?

Sadly the mission station in Mongu closed its camping, so rather camp in Senanga at Senanga Safari Lodge, I think it is called.

Itikiti luxuary lodge, about 30 km from Mongo has a nice campsite. Next to a lake and quite a unique experience

Google does not give any results. Do you have contact details?

    Can be traced on http://ioverlander.com/places/19945-...-luxury-resort

No contact details but very good current reviews in an area with not much else available.

EDIT. I see there are some contact details on this Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/makapaela/

Appears to be part of the Mantis group.

Thanx Stan, I did check on ioverlander map and could not find it. I am new to ioverlander so will check menu and see if I come right. I'll also go the FB route.

Checked: spelling is Ikithe Luxury Resort, for those interested.
