    Colleage had a brand new echo trailer. Took it for its firts trip to kgalagadi. Massive fibre glass tears and cracks.

    He left it in pretoria to fix under warrantee and to sommer sell it afterwards..

    Been doing this annually in Jimny since 2011 with no hassles. Maybe vintage Jimny's are tough!

    so..... are you all sorted out and travelling again?

    I see on the Frontrunner website that they have changed the design of the joining member quite substantially - it is now rounded at the bent edge and has vertical support too....wonder if this was due to a large number of failures, like ours, of the original design
