Noticed something strange Today would set Cruise Control to 80 but on Waze/GPS it shows 89-90 kph.. same for 90/100, 100/110 etc..

Itís a 2018 15k km on the ODO..

That means that the 15k km in the odometer may not be true either ...

My Everest speedo had a 6-7km/h under GPS reading.
    Tyres were 265/65/17

Could be but as far as i know the odo works of gearbox gears, which isnít affected by speedo being out..

Also compared Tank2Tank fuel consumption which was 11.4 km/l vs 8.5 km/l on obc but trip seems accurate if compared with gps tracker..

Sjo, that IS very strange. I have never heard of a vehicle on standard tyres where the speedo would be lower than the GPS. I have replaced the 65 profile tyres on my Ranger to 70 profile and that has brought the speedo and GPS in sync almost 100%. I suppose going even bigger will make the speedo reading to be lower than GPS reading.

Maybe have it checked out by Ford, for what it is worth.

PS. I don't have speed cruise, but if I remember the Ranger I drove for while with it, you will get an electronic display that will indicate what you set the speed cruise to. So when you set it to 80, does your speedo also indicate 80. That is now on a flat stretch of road. Obviously it will speed up a bit or slow down a bit as the gradient changes before it starts to correct itself.

My Honda CRV speedo is 5% out from the GPS but the odometer is spot on, stock rims and tyre.

Yup Digital Speedo shows same figure as clocks, tested on Flat stretch twice between WAFB and Zwartkops.

Plan is to go 265/65R18 when Std Contis wear out, how many kms do they get on avg ?

As according to calc they actually smaller overall than stock R17

    265/60R18 vs 265/65R18

    Only on Waze?

I have the same problem, and I think it is Waze. At130km/h speedo speed, the Garmin GPS (traditional GPS) shows 125km/h but Waze shows 145km/h. When I use the built-in GPS & maps, then it reads same as the traditional GPS. I think Waze had an update that screws with their speedo.
