    Default DIY Fortuner Drawer

I built this drawer for my Fortuner, pitty the slides is so heavy, but other than that it worked out well. On the one side next to the fridge I placed a volt meter, two amp meters (10amp max so one for the fridge and one for all the plugs) and the various plugs and USB ports.

I don't have a pic of it, underneath the bottom crate drawer is a friction slide for a plank to use as a prep table.

    Hi WayneSchalk,

Any idea what the weight is of the system without the fridge & boxes? Looks good!

Not quite sure, its based of the design of a Frontrunner drawer, my buddy has that and we built it to that dimensions. I see on their website it weighs 96kg, but on mine I cut out as much as I could, the cutouts weighed 18kg. So I'm sure mine weighs less, I'll see if I can weigh it.

Very nice. I did something very similar but with aluminium tubing and maizy connectors. Also didnít put a top over the fridge so that we could get to it while driving.

How did you anchor it. I used aluminium braces bolted to the seat mounts - didnít want to drill holes anywhere.

Smaak the volt meter, itís cool to be able to accurately monitor batter levels
Love your neighbour. Thatís about it, itíll be the world we want.

    Thanks,

Yes I used 5mm flatbar that I cut to about 80mm and drilled two holes into that, I then bolted it to the seat mounts. from there I have a ratchet strap to a tie down on the sides of the drawer.
