Default Grand Vitara - service ESP system message

    Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any GV drivers out there have had a"Service ESP system" message popping up before? I've had it about three times now but when I turn the car off and start it again, the message is gone.

Something to have checked out or just a bug?

    As always, thanks in advance!

That usually happens when the battery voltage is too low. Have the battery tested.

I also get it from time to time. When the error was persistent, it was my passenger front speed sensor that was dirty. Currently I only get it when I switch the car on acc and leave it there. As soon as I start, it goes away.

Got that for the first time end of December last year just as I was about to descend the Sani Pass. Was stationary, did the usual process of taking car into 4L. Car started beeping a lot as I started moving, with the last warning being that.
Stopped, re-did the entire process again, the beeping stopped but the warning remained until the point I got switch off the car. Asked Suzuki about it in Jan when I took car for service and they gave me a response like "its just a tiny glitch I shouldn't worry about". Haven't had the message ever since.
Still feel it was a weird thing to not consider as a serious thing but hey, I kinda remain relaxed about it.

A bit late, but agreed here. Finally replaced my battery with a 90Ah unit, and the message is gone forever now.

Can you remember the make/model of the battery you chose?

This is the battery I put in, it is Midas brand, as I didn't have much options. The battery was completely dead. Was a really good price also if I recall, something like R1300.00

I only had to remove the plastic fitting at the bottom, otherwise it fits 100%.
