    Default Angies "G" Spot

The name is nothing like the camp site, a bit like Ronnies Sex Shop (BTW they are friends)

General Comment: This Campsite is relativley new. It is situated on the R339, the road between Knysna and Avontuur/Uniondale or better known as Prince Alfreds Pass at De Vlugt.
The campsite offers a very good ablution block with two toilets and a shower fed from a donkie boiler. The ablutions are cleaned daily and the donkey is lit at about 5pm every afternoon and again early morning by the caretakers. There is a small cafe' as well as a pub with big screen sat. TV.
The campsites are mostly grassed with braai facilities scattered around at random. If camping is not your scene then you can book a chalet and even order meals from the kitchen. There is running water but no electricity. It is very "rustig" and I really enjoyed my weekend away at the place, well worth a visit

    Name: Angies G Spot
    Tel: 044 752 3017 or 044 752 3001
GPS: (as they supplied) South 33 48 .............. sounds suspect
    East 23 10 ............... "

4x4: There are no routes, only camping. Burchell Oxwagon Trail and 4x4 is only 9Km away with Williamsberg Farm 4x4 being about a further 20Km up the road.
Fuel: Avontuur is 20Km away and Nolls Halt (cafe/fuel) about 30Km

Talking Rooi Rivier 4x4 Trail & Camp Site

Situated on the Willomore/De Rust road in the Western Cape. The route is about one and three quarter hours outside George/Mosselbay and 3/4 from Oudtshoorn. Take the Road through De Rust, 500m outside De Rust turn right to Willomore and drive about 27 Km, just past the board (1Km) that states "Willomore 80km" you will find the farm on your left hand side. The route has worsened slightly since I was last there and I would now rate the trail as a 3 to 4. The camp consists of a fully enclosed area (reeds) with flushig toilet, shower basin etc using a donkey boiler.

    Default Bojaankop 4x4

Bojaankop trail is situated just off the R62 outside Calitsdorp. From Calitsdorp take the R62 towards Cape Town, drive about 10Km until just starting to enter the Huisrivier pass. Take the turn to the right that states Matjiesvlei. Follow the road until you see the sign on your left to Bojaanskop.
There are approx 3x self catering bungalows and a very nice grassed campsite with braai areas. This is a "bush camp" but offers really nice clean ablution facilities with a "donkey" boiler. There is good fishing, canoeing (bring your own) river swimming etc
The 4x4 trail offers fantastic views, and although I only rate the trail at a MAX No3, the section near the campsite can be challenging. It is a steep rocky climb up the side of the mountain. After this the trail becomes easier with nature and veiws more the order of the day.

ons het verlof ingesit vir n week in Aug en wil natuurlik gaan kamp. Ons moet eers kaaptoe en oppad terug iewers afpak. 5-11Aug. Ek wou op Bonnievale of Robertson langs die Breederivier gaan staan het maar as ek die weer so kyk gaan dit maar bladie koud wees in die nagte. Enige voorstelle? Ons soek 'n netjiese, mooi plek met krag en wil nie te ver uit my pad ry nie. Kommentaar sal waardeur word

What about using the R62, visiting Ronnies Sex Shop and staying over at Warmwaterberg Spa Hot Springs.

Khomeesdrif by Riviersonderend is ook nice. Daar is 4x4 roetes in die omgewing. Vra vir Rykie van dit. Ongelukkig nie elektrisiteit nie.

Default 'n Week van lekker rustig kamp

so, ons het gister namiddag hier aangekom by Bonnievale River Lodge langs die Breede rivier.
