    Default What trailer

I have to supply a trailer to a client who is developing a farm in Botswana. Trailer will be mostly used over weekends, mostly for one, but occasionally 2 persons. As far as I know there are no facilities currently. I have looked at the Raasblaar, but A) it seems a bit small to sleep and dress comfortably and B) it is a bit expensive for what the trailer is going to be used for.

So with the seemingly millions op options out there is there a trailer I should be looking at? Currently also looking at the Bushy Rhino Ranger.

I think you can pick up a second hand Echo 3 or 4 with a trailer top tent at quite a good price.

At least with a trailer tent, the tent has a floor area where one can dress or sit in evenings or during inclement weather. The awning is generally a pain, but for your client who will pitch it in one place for a while it is a plus.

If you go for a trailer with only a RTT like the Bushy, I will definitely consider some sort of gazebo as well.

Have a look for a 2nd hand Camptech Bosvelder trailer. Made from Fibreglass. I picked mine up for 30K.

I presented some secondhand trailers, but at this stage the client would prefer new.

The Bushy does not come with a tent, so easy enough to spec a TTT rather than a rooftop tent

When do you need this trailer by?
What specs do you need? Kitchen? Water tanks?
    Whats the budget?

I have a lovely Conqueror Conquest, fully kitted, just needs a fridge, but it may be out of your budget.

Budget is open ended I guess. Original idea was to add a canopy, packing system, RTT to Cruiser. So I am using those type of costs as a guideline. Probably around 70k - 80k
