Default When you really miss camping

The youngest Blonde built herself a tent yesterday in hospital as she misses being outdoors and camping so much. According to the staff there it is a first and they all had to go and see for themselves.

The first two weeks we spent there I seriously considered putting up the Bundu Canopy in the parking lot and making a fire. Not so sure if that would have gone down well..

But the the Cobb one can do in the back of the bakkie for sure

Kids put us to shame don't they. Far more resilient than an adult, making the most of things.

Give her a hug and tell her people really like her tent.

We could invade the place and just set up camp in the ward.

    Ok, Eish.

But it just goes to show that she is in it to win it - a great spirit.
Please give her our love and encouragement to keep up the good fight.

With a spirit like that - she has a hugely better chance of recovery.
My late father was very sure of the "power of positive thought". I too, believe that being positive can help in such situations.
