    Default JHB to Cullinan

    Hi!

I'd like to take a day trip to Cullinan one of these weekends.
I believe there is a nice drive on some dirt roads along the railway.

Does anyone have an offroad route to share from JHB to Cullinan?

    Thanks in advance

There are some interesting bits, some nice servitude roads next to the railway lines and some other roads, a water crossing or 2.

Is dry now so shouldn't be much mud or clay on the main sections.

Will post some pics and gps tracks tonight

no idea, just routes I have played on with bikes & 4x4s. There is a lot of exploring that can be done in that area, take the right tracks and you can get to Heidelberg or Bronkhorstspruit, Redstar race way, Rayton etc. can start literally from the Engen on the r21 or the one on Nelmapius next to rietvlei.

forgot to mention, there is some motorcycle and bicycle traffic on these roads over the weekends, more so on the servitudes next to the railway, so please do keep an eye open for them.
