Default Goodyear Wrangler Adventure no Kevlar?

I need to replace tyres on my Hilux 2.8 DC and am considering the Wrangler Adventure because of the Kevlar sidewalls.
Went to see a dealer today and was told that Goodyear no longer make the Kevlar sidewalls due to a dispute with Dupont.
    can anyone confirm this?
    Thanks, Ron

I bought new tyres two weeks ago. They have a logo on them stating “Du Pont KEVLAR reinforced layer”. This doesn’t say where exactly that layer is, but I would assume it’s in the tread and not in the sidewall. Name: IMG_2231.JPG

The Sa version doesn't have it in the sidewall, tread only. There's quite a long thread discussing it.

I have just done a search on "Tyre Chat"and see all the discussions on Goodyear Kevlar were in 2017. A lot could have changed since then.
The sidewall is always the weak spot so a reinforced sidewall is what I am interested in.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for such a tyre?

BFG or Dunlop AT3G if on a budget perhaps?

Excellent tyres. Kevlar in the tread only. I'm on the third set between two vehicles and running on bad Karoo dirt roads and tar when going to Cape Town. Never had a puncture with these tyres.

    Link above.

My set is going strong, virtually no road noise, no effect on fuel economy and used it off road a few times, granted in pretty mild conditions but they didn't miss a beat. Fairly priced and they also look decent, all around a win.

    Thanks everyone. All good information.
It seems that everyone has their own preference but there is nothing like a good reference!!
I will go and have a look at a few tyre suppliers.

I have fitted them to my Disco 2 just after I bought the vehicle. They have performed very well in all the on and off-road traveling I have done since. Soon after fitting we did a trip doing 12 Mountain Passes around and through Lesotho. The conditions ranged from dry corrugated dirt roads to wet rock on the climb up the last stage of the Ben Mac Dhui pass. They gave good grip and stability in all the conditions. Other than some normal 4x4 trails I did the river trip near Kruger in the Klein Letaba and Molototsi rivers with terrain ranging from soft dry sand, wet sand and lots of rocks both wet and dry. Again the Goodyear's performed without any problem even when we had to do a bit of bush road making to bypass some rocky areas in the river bed I wasn't prepared to attempt without additional under body protection on the Disco. I have now fitted the same tyres to my Xplorer caravan.
