I have never bee there although it is virtually in Pinetown!

If you wish I can go and have a look.
I suspect that there may be a lot of permanents - but ja, as I said I have never been there.
Also never heard any bad reports.

If it matters - let me know and I will go and look for you and report back,

Peter, I think rather not. Heard from Markus and Zelda that it isn't somewhere one wants to camp, also people who told them it is not an ideal area. Thanks for the offer.

Used to be a nice place.
Our parents stayed there quite often when they came down to KZN.

Have not been there in 5-7 years.
Heard some bad and good stories about it specially in the last 2 years since we moved from Pinetown.

Hi Riaan, there is nothing wrong with Queensburgh caravan camp, I was there a while ago and it's very nice. It is in Queensburgh and very safe. You can also google it on the web and you will see how nice it looks, great facilities too.

    Hi Heinz,
We are popping in to TO Strand in May 2020 - booked and paid.

Thinking of doing 2-3 days there.

Thanks for the info, will see closer to the date.

Very clean and well run - also safe. Grass camping sites and well kept ablutions. Although it is in a built up area it does not feel as though you are in a city. Easy access to highways. The best campsite in the Durban area - in my opinion.
