    Default D4 V8 de-cat

I know of a few D3 V8's being de-catted and Buck Roger's mentioned somewhere that his D4 is de-catted. Is it as simple as the D3 or will I require a dummy oxygen sensor?

    i just had myD3 v8 de-catted,

Powerflow did it for me in an hour,
fitted spacers for the downstream sensors and resonators to stop the tinny sound.
    amazing difference, do it already

im not sure if its the same but i dot see why it wouldn't be?

I don't think the D4 is the same as D3. I need to be sure

Decat and get a mini-at or cat fooler and you will hear a little bit more of a growl with a slightly marginal fuel consumption figure which is negated by the said 'grow'.

Fit a better silencer box to open it up a little better and it will sound more like a V8 should.

Any recommendations as to who can do this?

Viper Exhaust in Kempton. They fitted a full free flow system for me. Now it sounds like a proper V8.

Yes, Viper is also highly recommended. They did some work for me a few years ago on my Mk6 Gti. Very happy with it.
