Default Senegal to Europe via Mauritania

    Hi all.

I am planning a motorbike trip with a buddy from Dakar into Europe via Mauritania. Has anyone done this recently that can give me some advice?

We are Namibian and South African and planning to buy local Senegalese Motorbikes and take a minimalistic equipped approach to this.

Is there anyone in Dakar that has done this before? Will sponsor dinners and plenty drinks to pick some brains. We are in town for another 4weeks or so for now.

    Cheers
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
You should pose the same question on two other forums:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/OverlandingAfrica/ - there are a few people travelling in that area now; and
https://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/ - scroll down from the landing page to the North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa sections.
