Default Some ideas for pumped water please

My drawer system has a 60 L water tank that sits in the front of the drawers and has a pipe that runs to the rear at the bottom.

The Q is, what is a good suggestion to get the water out. it does have an inline pump. Currently it basically has a water pipe connected but Swambo says it is difficult and awkward to use.

    Ideas please.

Have you considered creating a small amount of positive pressure by use of a small pressure pump?

For a minimal solution- before complicated pumps, electrics etc. -try..

-fit a tyre valve to the water-tank cap and make sure it is sealed airtight.
-leave some empty volume in the tank-say 5l or so-when filling
-screw tank cap on to ensure airtight seal
-pump up tank slowly and carefully with hand/tyre pump/compressor -do some tests to see what safe pressure works for the tank -(some straps/reinforcing of tank may help)
-the contained pressure should well be enough for general water delivery at waist level -possibly even shower level, depending on your pressure/pipe diameter.

I have similar tank behind drawer system-I have pipe running to tap just under the rear bumper-gravity feed is sufficient-

and bending down now-and-again can only be beneficial to health!

    Thanks guys

I must not have explained myself very well. it does have a 12 v inline pump, the ones they use on the caravans.

Onto this goes a pipe and then .............. just the end of the pipe. What I did was hang a couple of pipe hangers onto the side of the drawer system, when the pipe is upright, you can see the level of the water in the tank.

But that's it, no tap, shower head, gizmo or whatchacallit.

Switch the pump on when the hose is pointing at you and .... well let's just say it does not end well.

Maybe something similar to this? There are more “elegant” valve options available at waterpiping stores. This one is fitted to our Xcape and it makes it easy if we want to empty the tank.

I fitted a tap and a the ran a t piece and fitted another 1m piece of hose with a normal garden fitting. So I can use any standard garden water device or extend the hose if needed. Works well for me.
