Default Wooden box for outdoor storage

I need to move my bikes from the garage to outdoor storage and have thought to do something like this to accommodate two bikes.

Top or front panel needs to be removable (no hinges)
    Minimum inside measurements shown
    Weatherproof

    Questions:
    Pine / Saligna or ?
    Thickness ?
    T&G / laminated etc sides ?
    Wood treatment
Reinforcement of structure? (Max mass will be ~30 Kg's)
Screws / hex key / pan head fasteners etc?

    Pointers will be appreciated.

My two cents worth would be to look at Wendy house construction as a start.
Go for pine or cheaper and stronger consider plywood.
    Something like 19mm
Use Waxol or Navo 17 Depending on the surface you require.
Use a combination of wood glue and Screws.
Raise the box slightly of the floor to prevent wood rot.

Why wood in particular? More for aesthetical value?

Why not steelframe with coloured Chromadek cladding? No maintanance.

I would use Nutec.Wooden frame with the Nutec.
Either the boards or for looks use the patterned "planks" that they use to build Nutec Houses.

Thanks for the advice & recommendations, will consider the options

(Need to add, the 'solution' should be fairly low profile and easy movable)

For simple construction, low cost, and easy movability

-I'd use a 18mm waterproof ply ( either marine WBP, or genuine waterproof shutterply ( not the non-waterproof stuff the local hardware calls 'shutterply' - always look for the dark/black gluelines between the plys) -fixed onto H4/5/6 treated internal frame ( 38x38 or 50x50), countersunk screws, Balcotan glue, polyester filler ( bodyputty) to holes, entire box mounted on 3 or 4 off 100x100 or 100x50 treated bearers, and placed on bricks/blocks. To move box-insert 2 poles under box, 4 sets of hands and carry like a stretcher ( I expect you would get closer to 50/60 kg though, in weight)

Entire box sealed with sanding sealer -thinned first coat-then final colour coats of good quality external paint.

Use 18mm shutterply with a marine sealer as mentioned. Unless it is permanently submerged, it should last many many years and shutterply or end-ply is bloody robust.
