    Default Battery Recommendation

So my secondary battery has gone and I need to replace it.

I have the National Luna battery box already installed, so new battery has to fit in it.

So if you were replacing a battery, what whould you buy?

I am in the same predicament.

currently I am using 102a/h leisure -national battery, it's lasting maybe 1 day.
Victron combiner is method of charge.

I would like to know what would be a recommended battery, for the general camper. Used say once per month and last 1.5days. Something in the 102-110a/h range?

You are going to get lots of opinions here.

    What are you thinking

    Wet cell

    Gel

    AGM

A lot comes down to cost and application. I personally favour wet cell as they are less expensive and charge quickly, this suits my type of camping.

Wet cell favourites are Royal 1150K (if you can find them) and Deltec

I want to add further to this. What are your recharge methods, often just relying on a vehicles alternator to recharge the battery in the NL box is not enough.

Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

I was heading or thinking the Dixon 105 route. But not sure whether it is a good option. For my use. I do have an cheap smart charger and the normal 12A red Midas jobbies for in between charging and maintenance.

Cost would also enter the picture. Wet/Gel/Agm that the reason asking.
