    Default Life/Disability cover

I'm looking for a broker who can provide quotes from different insurers on life/Disability cover.

    Anybody out there?

If applicable don't forget about your Group Life? Normally cheaper and easier to increase cover. (Through your employer eg)

    Hi New Landy

I am a broker, but I am far away. My check list for a new broker would be:

    1. Ask family or friends for a recommendation
2.How independent are they? How many options can they give me?
    3. Do they have enough Indemnity cover
    4. Experience and qualifications

These are in no special order. Just some thoughts.

As for cover make sure you compare apples with apples.
There is a big difference and price between Comprehensive Own occupation Disability and Core Own or Similar Physical Impairment and accidental cover.

    Secondly
Compare the premium patterns. How much does the premium and cover increase annually?
In most cases, the cheaper the initial premium the higher the annual increase.

    Lastly
If a broker offers a discount with a loyalty/rewards program make sure you understand what happens should you not maintain a certain level.

These are just a few suggestions to get you started.
    Cheers
    Going broke in style.
