Can a jack explode or catch fire? Cause that is what lives in that compartment.

As an insurance broker, that is terrifying.

Very interested in what happened here.

    Hi Gents

As for insurance company they where very helpful and understanding when the pictures where sent to them it was classed as an accident.

It is being repaired ( they replaced just about everything inside from Toyota carpets to seat belts etc) . The seats where not damaged at all due to the Escape Gear seat covers which have been washed and are as good as new.

    1) The van was parked at work under cover.
    2) As for the Broker very helpful
    3) the first quote was R240k ( which means they going to scrap the van )
    4) We made a decision to send the van to Auto Armour they never had a vehicle like this before but they did an outstanding job.
    5) The quote was redone and it ended up at R95k
    6) Dont have tracker

Some sort of chemical reaction? Pool acid and chlorine for example? No open flames just serious heat.
