    Default My RHD 1 of 250 UAZ 31512

    This is a 2003 factory RHD UAZ 31512, one of only 250 units ever made that were exported to Kenya, think it has a pretty interesting background, so thought its worth sharing! It has done everything from Kenyan Army Tenders in 2005, to being a fully fledged Masai Mara Safari vehicle between 2008-2010, to now being my daily/competition vehicle, clocked well over 400,000kms now and i hope it keeps going and going and creating more memories! As it sits now;

    2003 UAZ 31512 Factory RHD
    3.0L 4cyl Turbo Diesel (upgraded turbo, upgraded mechanical injector pump and a few other goodies)
    40mm lift all round
    Cut rear arches
    33" M/Ts, with possible upgrade to 35s coming soon
    Rear Diff Locker
    Original 1975 Military Light covers(extremely hard to find now)
    All the bushes have been swapped to Polyurethane

    Honorable Trips/Competitions

    2nd place in its class in the 2017 Champagne Park 4x4 Challenge
    Winner in its class at the 2009 concours d'elegance
    Runner-up as a completely stock vehicle at the 2005 Athi-River Quattro Charge
    Service Vehicle at the 2017 Aberdares Hill Climb
    Sweeper and rescue vehicle at 3 races at the 2017/2018 season Kenyan Rally Raids
    Featured in the Russian magazine "4x4 Club" on 12/01/2019
